My son is 11 years old, which track should he attend?
I would like a clear guideline as to which track I should attend. What are the two tracks, and which one should I attend?

My son is 11 years old, which track should he attend?
According to RZIM, the ASK material for the main track is suitable for high-school and up. We feel that 6th graders and above should do fine. We leave the decision to you. If you feel that your son will do just fine (perhaps he is already asking tough questions or sitting comfortably through sermons at Church), then feel free to bring him to the main track. Of course, you can also attend, and then perhaps set the stage for some great conversations afterwards!

We will have two tracks (parallel sessions) at this event.
Track #1, intended for younger children (general guideline: ages 6 through 10)
Track #2, the main track (general guideline: ages 11 and up, or 6th grade and up)
These are general guidelines only. You can feel free to bring your child to either track.

See below. - What is SAACF, San Diego?
It stands for the South-Asian American Christian Fellowship of San Diego.
We are an interdenominational group of Christians coming from various groups - Methodists, Anglicans, Baptists, Charismatics, etc. We are Christians from the extended Indian sub-continent who get together on a periodic basis to celebrate our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The group was started by Dr. Sam Kamaleson in August of 2000, similar to other groups by the same name elsewhere in the US.
To borrow a phrase that captures the interdenominational nature of our efforts: “In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, charity.”
- What do we believe?
We hold to the basic Evangelical Biblical Christian beliefs including the following: “We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and as the only infallible rule of faith and practice.”
Are you guys a Church?
No, we are not a Church. All (or most!) of our team are members in various Churches across San Diego. Some of those Churches are sponsoring this event through their support in a variety of ways.
Is lunch provided free of cost, or should I plan to bring money to pay for lunch?
Lunch is hosted on-site at the event, free of cost. Most likely, the lunches will be boxed, and deli-style.
How are the finances handled for this event?
All expenses are met through free-will contributions. We will have a donation box available at the event. We are not a formally registered non-profit charity, so contributions are not tax deductible.
May I bring a non-Christian friend to the event?
Certainly, the primary audience is Christian youth. However, the questions that the ASK curriculum deals with are broad questions that apply to everyone. So, adults (not just youth) are welcome, and non-Christians are welcome also. The teaching obviously will be from a Biblical worldview.
Do I have to attend the whole day?
It is up to you. Obviously, we feel that attending the whole day will best benefit. But if you can only attend for part of the time, we suggest coming from 10-12, as you will get to attend the two teaching sessions in the morning.

Do I need to do any upfront preparation before attending?
No, just come with your questions! Bring a notebook and pen, and your Bible. You do not need to purchase any workbooks or such. Pray that God may use this event to mature you in your walk with Him!
